This extension or shortening will not cause major damage to the equipment.

Most of today's enterprises organize production according to orders, and customers have very strict requirements on delivery time. In some production enterprises, just-in-time and zero inventory have become typical features. Once the vacuum equipment is shut down, it will inevitably affect certain production process, and the order will be affected, which will greatly harm the efficiency and reputation of the enterprise. Avoiding a lot of unplanned shutdown and guaranteeing on-time delivery through preventive maintenance makes a huge difference.
It can reduce the chain damage of the equipment and prolong the life of the equipment
Equipment damage often starts from a part or some parts, and these parts affect other parts or parts, and it is transmitted step by step, and finally causes a big problem. Therefore, the qualitative change and damage of a certain part of the vacuum equipment will not only cause the failure of the vacuum equipment system, but also be transmitted to the equipment in the application link. Of course, improper "preventive maintenance" will not only not reduce costs, but also increase costs, which we call maintenance redundancy or excess maintenance. We are talking about proper preventive maintenance that can reduce maintenance costs.
In general, planned work is 3 to 4 times more efficient than unplanned work. Because of its planned nature, preventive maintenance can study the repair plan in advance, prepare drawings, tools, spreaders and other auxiliary facilities and materials, and prepare spare parts. Once disassembled and repaired, the repair work can be completed efficiently.
On the contrary, if the vacuum equipment is already broken, people diagnose the cause in a hurry of sudden shutdown, and then search for tools, spare parts, and materials. The real maintenance time takes half a day, while the preliminary preparation may take one and a half a day to two days, and the efficiency is significantly reduced, the maintenance cost will naturally increase, the chain damage that may be caused by the subsequent maintenance will also increase the loss of replacement parts, which will increase the maintenance cost.
It can reduce the risk of safety accidents
Preventive maintenance can eliminate local, minor or incipient defects in equipment, which alone can reduce the risk of safety incidents. The synchronous maintenance implemented by many steel mills is also an opportunity maintenance by using the gap between upstream and downstream shutdowns.
Beverage, refrigerator, freezer, and air-conditioning manufacturers have tight production tasks in summer and light winters, so preventive maintenance can be arranged in winter as much as possible.
Cigarette industry winter tasks is tight, it is slightly easier in summer, and the opportunity maintenance can be arranged in midsummer.
When the maintenance task of the enterprise is tight, the maintenance gap can be adjusted appropriately so as to effectively utilize the maintenance manpower and facility resources. In conclusion, opportunistic preventive maintenance allows for more flexible scheduling of work.

As well as reducing safety injuries, preventive maintenance can effectively reduce the risk of environmental damage. Equipment, especially involving toxic gases, leakage of liquid equipment will cause environmental damage. Equipment noise will also pollute the environment. The water treatment and air purification equipment in the enterprise is directly related to the impact on the discharge environment.

Poorly functioning equipment tends to increase friction and energy consumption. Preventive maintenance can ensure the smooth and stable operation of equipment and facilities, effectively reduce energy consumption, and maintain the energy-saving effect of equipment.
