Vacuum Pump Related Terms
Capacity
The capacity of water ring vacuum pump refers to the volume of air in the suction state through the pump inlet per unit time when the inlet is at a given vacuum degree and the outlet is atmospheric pressure 1013.25hPa.
Vacuum Degree (or Pressure)
The vacuum degree of water ring vacuum pump refers to the degree of thinness of the gas at the inlet in a vacuum state, expressed in absolute pressure.
Ultimate Vacuum (or Ultimate Pressure)
The ultimate vacuum of water ring vacuum pump refers to the vacuum at the inlet when the air volume is zero.
Compression Ratio
The ratio of the gas volume under suction pressure to the compressed gas volume.
