Another area of application of vacuum mechanics is vacuum filtration and vacuum impregnation. At present, continuous vacuum filtration has been widely used in chemical, sugar, cement and other industrial sectors. It is easy to separate the liquid and solid in the suspension through the action of pressure differential force and through the fine sieve. The use of vacuum filtration in the dye industry can save a lot of cotton.

Vacuum impregnation is a new type of process in which flake or fibrous loose substances are evacuated first, and then immersed in liquid and filled with some new substances. This process has significantly improved product quality in products such as oil-impregnated bearings, fishnet fibers, leather, non-electrolytic capacitors, transformers, and motor stator coils. In addition, this process impregnates loose and inferior wood with polyester resin, and impregnates pencil wood with wax to change the original natural properties to achieve the purpose of turning inferior quality into high quality.
