Dry Screw Vacuum Pump for Dehumidification Process of Lithium Battery
Introduction of various dehumidification methods for lithium battery liquid injection dehumidification process:
-
Cooling and dehumidification
Cool the air below the dew point and remove the condensed moisture.
-
Compression dehumidification
Compresses, cools and separates moist air to separate its moisture. It is effective in occasions with small air volume, but not suitable for large air volume.
-
Solid adsorption dehumidification
The water is adsorbed on the solid hygroscopic agent by capillary action. The dew point can be lowered, but the equipment becomes larger when the adsorption area is large.
-
Liquid absorption dehumidification
Moisture is absorbed by a spray of an aqueous lithium chloride solution. The dew point can be reduced to about -20°C, but the equipment is large and the absorbing liquid must be replaced.
-
Dry dehumidification
The sheet impregnated with hygroscopic agent is processed into a honeycomb runner for ventilation and dehumidification. Its dehumidification structure is simple, and the dew point can reach below -50℃ after special combination.
The liquid injection process in the battery industry is mainly to extract corrosive gas (hydrogen fluoride gas), which is highly corrosive to metal substances after condensation. The interior of the dry screw vacuum pump is oil-free and water-free, without contact and friction. Sometimes a separation filter is installed at the air inlet of the pump to filter out the moisture and impurities sucked by the system. The gas is sucked in from the suction port of the vacuum pump and then directly discharged from the exhaust port without any damage to the interior of the vacuum pump.
