Extruder Degassing

Thermoplastic is melted in the extruder and degassed in the threaded part of the extruder. Vacuum pumps are used to extract gas and vapor components from the melt. All low molecular weight substances are extracted to obtain the most ideal thermoplastic quality, with smooth shape, higher strength, better insulation and lower gas generation rate.

 

Calibration Table 

The continuous section of the melted and degassed plastic material in the extruder into the forming table. Typically, these sections are in tubes, or in various technical sections such as windows, wire ducts, and medical tubing. The plastic material is drawn into the mold. For cooling and lubrication, a water film is formed between the inside of the mold and the continuous work piece, and the air is evacuated stably by a vacuum pump.

 

EPS Foaming

In the production of EPS components and moldings, the pre-expanded polystyrene droplets are first blown into the mold using side channel blower, which are then pressurized with steam. Finally it is polymerized and "baked" into moldings. To avoid deformation during this process, the parts must be cooled. A vacuum pump is applied to these parts to ensure that they do not deform and the moisture in them evaporates quickly. The heat generated during evaporation is removed from the work piece, speeding up the cooling process.

 

Drying

Before the pellets enter the extruder for further processing, they are passed to the dryer using a pneumatic conveying device. The dryer is a closed system with hot air circulation. The air in the dryer absorbs moisture from the spherical material and expels it through the desiccant. The desiccant itself must have hot air blowing through it so that it can be reused.

 

Pneumatic Conveying Devices

At various stages of production, plastic pellets must be transferred from one location to another (for example transfer from a sump to a dryer). This can be done automatically by using a pneumatic conveying device and can be accelerated. The piping is routed from the start point to the end point and connected to the vacuum pump or compressor. Due to the material being transported, the air in the pipes is "loaded". Depending on cargo weight and pipeline length, the system is designed so that the vacuum pump (vacuum transfer) or compressor (pressure transfer) generates enough speed to pick up the material and deliver it to its destination without being left in the pipeline. Due to the large amount of dust generated by pneumatic conveying devices used to transfer plastic materials, we would recommend the use of a filter system.

 

Vinyl Chloride Gas Extraction and Compression

During the production of PVC, vinyl chloride gas is polymerized under the pressure of an automatic autoclave to form polymerized PVC. At the same time, the gas produced is extracted, compressed and liquefied.
