Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump Troubleshooting: Running Hot


  1. The ambient temperature or suction temperature is too high

  2. There is not enough air to ventilate the cooling pump

  3. Too much oil in the pump

  4. Insufficient pump oil

  5. Oil deterioration

  6. The exhaust filter is polluted



  1. Take measures to cool down temperature

  2. Clean the cooling fins of the motor and pump and supply enough flowing air to cool the pump

  3. Put off the excess oil

  4. Refuel to the required oil level

  5. Change new oil

  6. Replace the exhaust filter
